Iowa State guard Tyrese Haliburton has emerged as a prospect loved by virtually every team atop the NBA draft and is reportedly expected to be a high selection on Nov. 18, according to John Hollinger of The Athletic.

Hollinger, who previously served as the vice president of the Memphis Grizzlies, penciled in Haliburton to the Chicago Bulls with the fourth overall pick in his latest mock draft. He believes the 20-year-old will be the selection at No. 4, either by the Bulls or a team that acquires the pick.

I don’t know if Chicago is the team that takes Haliburton, but what I do know is that he’s going to go high. Everybody likes him. He has length and tools, the background on him is impeccable, and all these 1-on-0 shooting drills in “workouts” are going to make him look really good.

The speculation by Hollinger backs up a previous report that indicated Haliburton is drawing interest from the Minnesota Timberwolves and Golden State Warriors. However, it is unclear if either team would entertain taking Haliburton with the top two picks in the draft.

Haliburton earned Second Team All-Big 12 honors last season after averaging 15.2 points, 6.5 assists, 5.9 rebounds and 2.5 steals in 22 games. He shot 50.4% from the field and 41.9% from 3-point range on 5.6 attempts per game.

Given his 6-foot-5 frame, and 7-foot wingspan, Haliburton is viewed as perhaps one of the most NBA-ready 3-and-D prospects in the draft. As a result, he is expected to hear his name called early this year.
