Deion Sanders’ personality is something else in both the college football world and the NFL world. Current players, and even NFL stars, have discussed at great lengths their thoughts on Coach Prime, and the Colorado Buffaloes should feel grateful that they landed him as their head coach.
Recently, Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill made some interesting comments about Coach Prime during an episode of his podcast, It Needed To Be Said.
“I follow Deion Sanders a lot,” Hill said. “I have two sons who are good at football and I want to be a coach. I watch everything Deion does.”
If coaching is Hill’s goal after his NFL days are over, he’s watching the right person.
Sanders was an All-Pro talent in the NFL and quite the baseball player as well. He then turned HBCU Jackson State into a national headline, landed the job at Colorado and is now eager to turn around a program that went 1-11 last season. Sanders’ son, Shedeur, is set to start for the Buffs at quarterback and should have a huge season.
If Hill is taking notes from Sanders, he should have no problem finding a way to be successful after his playing career comes to an end. Who knows, maybe Hill’s sons will end up playing for Coach Prime.
