Tyreek Hill alluded he wants out of Miami after the Dolphins’ disappointing season

Well, this isn’t good for Miami.

The Miami Dolphins might have a big problem on their hands after their 32-20 road loss to the New York Jets on Sunday.

The team’s disappointing 8-9 season came to a close this weekend, one partially tanked by quarterback Tua Tagovailoa missing time with a concussion.

However, star wide receiver Tyreek Hill still hinted after the loss that he might want to play elsewhere next season.

“I’m opening the door. Like, I’m out,” Hill said, via the Miami Herald’s Omar Kelly. “It was great playing here, but at the end of the day, I got to do what’s best for my career… I’m too much of a competitor to be just out there.”

When he was asked if this means he’s thinking about leaving the team, he decided not to answer. Yikes.

Hill still has multiple years left on his Dolphins contract, so a trade would have to be facilitated to get this done. Miami will not just cut him for the heck of it just because Hill is tired of playing there.

We’ll see if he sticks to this in the months to come, but Hill playing elsewhere would be a seismic development for the Dolphins and the rest of the NFL.

Making this all more interesting, Hill posted a note of gratitude after the game for the franchise and its fan base on social media, seemingly in response for his postgame comments.
