Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, the world’s biggest streamer, is taking a break from streaming after an incident in Fortnite cost him his Twitch partnership.
On Thursday, Blevins teased something before hopping into Fortnite. “Big things are coming,” Blevins said on Twitter.
During a particularly intense match, Belvins began ranting to his viewers about the current state of Fortnite. Specifically, the infamous rifting maneuver, which he believes is completely unfair. After venting for a while, Belvins abruptly ended the broadcast.
“I just need a break,” Blevins said on Twitter. “I don’t know when I will be back, or where.”

Following the incident, his Twitch account lost its verified status — meaning he is no longer an official partner on the platform. He also deleted his Twitter profile picture and changed the account name to “User Not Found” for whatever reason.
While it appears that Blevins might have lost his partnership because of this incident, many believe this could be some sort of publicity stunt. His Twitch contract was allegedly up in August, and stripping the biggest streamer of his partner status doesn’t make much sense for Twitch, especially not for simply rage-quitting. The most popular theory is Blevins could be heading to another platform like YouTube. As of right now, all anyone can do is speculate.
