Tyler Eifert will suit up for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2020.
It’s an odd thing to say. But Wednesday, word broke the former Cincinnati Bengals tight end had made the rounds in free agency and eventually settled on a two-year deal with the Jaguars.
Thursday, Eifert took to social media to address the move and talk with Bengals fans. In the heartfelt message seen below, Eifert even throws out a fun note about hoping to see the Bengals in the AFC title game in 2020.
Eifert had joined the Bengals via the first round in 2013 and had that memorable breakout year in 2015, scoring 13 times in as many games. But he battled droves of injury issues for the remainder of his tenure until last year, playing in 16 games but on less than 50 percent of the snaps.
