Tyler Biadasz injury vs Falcons: Latest news on Commanders C

The latest injury update on Commanders center Tyler Biadasz.

When the Washington Commanders were without starting center Tyler Biadasz two weeks ago against the New Orleans Saints, they missed him. While veteran Michael Deiter is a capable veteran, Washington’s running game wasn’t the same without Biadasz.

Biadasz returned in Week 16, helping lead the Commanders to a win over the Philadelphia Eagles, ending their 10-game winning streak. However, during the second quarter of Washington’s Week 17 game against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday Night Football, Biadasz injured his ankle and immediately went into the blue medical tent.

Deiter replaced him, and the Commanders said he was questionable to return with an ankle injury.

Biadasz came out of halftime with heavy tape on the injured ankle and was working on the sideline, testing the ankle. However, he has yet to return, with the Commanders scoring touchdowns on their first two drives of the second half.

We’ll continue to monitor Biadasz’s injury situation. The Commanders face Biadasz’s old team, the Cowboys, in Week 18.
