Ty Robinson named to AP All-Big Ten Second Team

Ty Robinson received an accolade on Friday.

Nebraska football defensive lineman Ty Robinson was named to the Associated Press All-Big Ten second team. The announcement was made on Friday morning.

Robinson put together another solid season for the Huskers. He played in 12 games this season and recorded 33 combined tackles. He was a pass-rushing asset for the program, tallying six sacks on the year. He also had three pass deflections and a forced fumble.

Robinson has played at a high level during his time at Nebraska. He has been a defensive anchor for the program over the past two seasons. All told, he has tallied 130 tackles and 11 sacks in five seasons with the Huskers.

The defensive playmaker will have one final shot to make an impact for the program as the Huskers get ready for the Pinstripe Bowl on December 28. This will give him a chance to put a storybook ending on what has been a whirlwind Huskers career.
