Two-division champ Christian Lee returns at ONE 169 in Atlanta to face Alibeg Rasulov

Christian Lee will put his lighweight title on the line against Alibeg Rasulov as a part of the stacked ONE 169 event in Atlanta.

[autotag]Christian Lee[/autotag] is returning to action after a lengthy layoff to defend one of his two ONE Championship titles.

Lee (17-4 MMA, 17-4 ONE), the current ONE lightweight (170 pounds) and welterweight (185 pounds) titleholder, and will put his lighter-weight title on the line at ONE 169 against undefeated Alibeg Rasulov.

The event takes place Nov. 8 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta. The promotion officially announced the matchup as a part of the event’s tickets on sale (Ticketmaster) announcement Friday.

Lee won the ONE lightweight title by defeating Rae Yoon Ok by second-round stoppage at ONE 160 in August 2022. Three months later, he claimed a title in a second division, defeating Kiamrian Abbasov by TKO in Round 4 in an incredible comeback to become the ONE welterweight champ. Lee has been out of action since rapidly capturing both titles.

Rasulov (14-0 MMA, 1-0 ONE) will look to keep his perfect professional record in his first shot at ONE gold. Rasulov recently debuted in the promotion at ONE Fight Night 24 on July 5, defeating the aforementioned Ok by unanimous decision.

With the addition, the ONE 169 lineup includes:

  • Anatoly Malykhin vs. Oumar Kane – for ONE heavyweight MMA title
  • Tawanchai PK Saenchai vs. Jo Nattawut – for ONE lightweight muay Thai title
  • Christian Lee vs. Alibeg Rasulov – for ONE lightweight MMA title
