Two way Celtics sharpshooter Sam Hauser says going against Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown ‘testing me in a good way’

Boston’s two way marksman is upping his craft on the other end of the court thanks to the Celtics’ All-Star wings.

A lot of ink has been spilled on the Boston Celtics shaking up their roster after a few mostly moribund seasons with much of the same cast treading water at a time the team is supposed to be rounding into the form of a contender, but not so much about the only player currently on the roster as a two way player.

That player, undrafted sharpshooting forward Sam Hauser, could actually contribute to the team meaningfully this season given his in-demand NBA-ready skill and his playing a position of need for the team if things go well. Speaking with Celtics Blog’s Adam Taylor on a recent “Celtics Pod” podcast, Hauser opened up about the season ahead and splitting time between the Celtics and their G League team the Maine Celtics (formerly Red Claws).

“I’m excited for both situations,” related Hauser.
