The annual Pangos All-American camp is underway in Las Vegas, and some of the top basketball talent in the country is participating. That list includes two UNC basketball commits.
James Brown and Drake Powell are participating in the camp, getting more action in before the AAU cycle continues later this summer.
Through three games in this camp, Powell is averaging 12.7 points, 5 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 27 minutes per game.
Powell has been on the rise since committing to North Carolina in 2022, having an impressive junior season. That carried into the EYBL season where he impressed analysts.
As for Brown, he’s averaging 15.8 points, 6 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game in his first four contests. That includes a 28-point performance on Tuesday in the win over Notre Dame.
Both players also were listed in the On3 Top 150 updated rankings that were released on Monday. If both play well throughout the summer, they should get another boost in the rankings for the next updates.
