Two former Michigan State hockey members being inducted in Michigan Sports Hall of Fame

Two MSU hockey greats are being inducted into the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame

Ryan Miller and Rick Comley are officially going to be inducted into the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame as part of the 2023 class.

Miller was a standout goaltender for the Spartans and won the Hobey Baker Award in 2001, along with several CCHA goaltender of the year awards before having a very successful 20 year pro career.

Comley was a longtime college hockey coach in the state, spending 1973-1976 at Lake Superior State before 1976-2002 with Northern Michigan and then 2002-2011 with Michigan State, where he won the 2007 National Championship.
