The Kansas City Chiefs are preparing for a Week 10 matchup against the Denver Broncos, and as injuries pile up for the defending Super Bowl champions, it will take a herculean effort to keep their perfect season alive.
Veteran contributors JuJu Smith-Schuster and Tershawn Wharton both missed Kansas City’s practice session on Thursday and while their status for the Chiefs’ AFC West showdown with the Broncos hasn’t been announced, it seems unlikely that either will be available on Sunday.
Smith-Schuster has been dealing with a hamstring injury, while Wharton was listed with a knee injury.
