Two Basketball Signees Among Nation’s Best According to On3 Sports

Arkansas basketball fans have had plenty to cheer about since Eric Musselman took over the program three years ago, as he has the program going in a positive direction very quickly. What’s even better, is that the fun does not seem to be slowing down anytime soon.

On3 sports recently updated their 2022 Five Stars list, and two Razorback pledges have made the cut. Arkansas signees Nick Smith and Jordan Walsh made the top-20 list of On3 Five Stars, as announced on Instagram Monday.

Earning a spot on a respectable list is nothing new for these guys. Last month, both Smith and Walsh were named to the McDonald’s All-America roster, which was the first time that two Razorback signees were invited to compete in the coveted game since 1988, when Lee Day and Todd Mayberry were named to the team.

Despite still competing in the high school ranks, Smith has the eye of the NBA as well, as he was recently projected to go No. 3 overall in the 2023 NBA Draft. 

Arkansas is currently No. 2 in the 247sports 2022 Recruiting Rankings with two five-star recruits, and three five-stars.
