Two Auburn running backs training with former Tigers running back

Two Auburn running backs training in Atlanta, Georgia with former Tigers running back Brad Lester.

On Wednesday, former Auburn running back Brad Lester took to Twitter to post a video of two current running backs training at his facility. Those two running backs are rising junior [autotag]Tank Bigsby[/autotag] and upcoming freshman [autotag]Damari Alston[/autotag]. Both are projected to have big roles on the Tigers’ offense in 2022.

Lester is one of the best running back(s) training coaches in the southeast. He provides college and professional athletes with the opportunity to improve their speed and skillset. Several of the running backs that have worked out with Lester are Jase McClellan (Alabama), Kendall Milton (Georgia), and Dylan McDuffie (Buffalo). It is also worth noting that he has worked with several NFL players like Najee Harris (Steelers), Chris Carson (Seahawks), and Caleb Huntley (Falcons).

Tank Bigsby has been a workhorse for the Tigers since joining the program as a part of the 2020 class. His freshman season was really impressive, to say the least. The native of LaGrange, Georgia rushed for 834 yards on 138 carries. He averaged right at six yards per carry. In his sophomore season, he had another good year. However, it didn’t seem like he brought the juice as he did in his freshman season. Now, he is looking to enhance his skill set in order to become one of the best backs in the conference as well as the country.

On the other hand, incoming freshman Damari Alston will look to make a name for himself in 2022. The product of Atlanta, Georgia certainly possesses the raw attributes that the Tigers coaching staff loves. It is up to Alston to now prove his worth in the SEC. Standing at 5-foot-10 and 205 pounds, his frame is ideal for success in this conference. 247Sports’ recruiting rankings had Alston ranked as a three-star. The incoming freshman held over 50 offers out of high school. If he lives up to the hype, his role should loom large in the Tigers’ offense.

The training with Lester will likely make for a good season for the two of them. It is make or break time for the Tigers in 2022. We will see how the running back room develops and how the Tigers perform this upcoming season.
