For the fifth successive year under Jim Harbaugh, and the 17th time in the last 19 meetings, the Michigan Wolverines fell to arch rival Ohio State, and the undefeated No. 1 Buckeyes dominated on Saturday. One year after hanging 62 points on Michigan at Ohio Stadium, the Buckeyes went to the Big House and increased their margin of victory, winning 56-27. Buckeyes running back J.K. Dobbins had a career day with 211 rushing yards and four touchdowns, while fellow Heisman Trophy hopeful Justin Fields had four passing touchdowns in the game.
For Michigan, Saturday’s crushing loss will overshadow the outcome of their eventual bowl game, and Harbaugh is still without a signature win against his biggest rival. Twitter had plenty of jokes and sobering stats about the Wolverines’ awful day.

I hope that when Michigan eventually beats Ohio St again, my kids are in good enough health to have their children’s children bring them to my grave so they can stick a tiny little M flag next to my rarely visited tombstone in an effort to pay homage to their loser great grandpa.

Jim Harbaugh is the first coach in the 122 year history of the rivalry to start 0-5 in The Game. Congrats on making it into the record book, coach!

The 118 points Michigan has given up to Ohio State in their last two meetings is the most ever given up to OSU over two years, surpassing the 84 given up 2014-15. Next worst after that was 78 in 1961-62.
U-M outscored OSU 122-0 in 1902-03 if that makes anyone feel better.
