Beating the Los Angeles Lakers is one way to establish your arrival in the league.
Doing it twice in eight days and hitting a pivotal shot from the logo is a way to announce that you are a star.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander willed the Oklahoma City Thunder to victory on Thursday night, and his late-game play took Twitter by storm. His pass out of a quadruple-team may have iced the game, but his shot from the logo shortly before is the new signature moment of his young career.
The Thunder got a 107-104 come-from-behind victory over the Lakers as OKC poured in 35 points in the fourth quarter. Gilgeous-Alexander scored 11 and had four assists in that frame alone.
Twitter, for the first time in a long time, was in awe of the Thunder.
