It’s hard for any team to overcome four first-half turnovers and win a game, despite limiting the opponent to 145 total yards and eight first downs. The Rams proved that on Sunday in their 28-17 loss to the Dolphins.
Jared Goff was under constant duress, the offensive line did nothing to protect him in the pocket, and Sean McVay’s play-calling abandoned the Rams’ best asset: a running game.
After a disastrous first half in which the Rams turned it over four times, leading to 28 points for Miami, Los Angeles was unable to mount a comeback in the final 30 minutes to beat the Dolphins. Fans were furious with their team’s performance, and understandably so.
It was a sloppy showing by Goff and the offense, wasting a dominant outing by Brandon Staley’s defense. Here’s how Twitter reacted to the stunning loss by the Rams.

Can’t win playing like the offense did in the first half. Probably Jared’s worst game to date. Can’t pass on a 3rd & 2 when you’re playing the 32nd ranked rush D. Things will get fixed.
Hell of a game for the defense. Hopefully Ramsey’s all good. Bye week. Make the changes. 🤘🏻— Mike Murphy (@M1k3Murphy13) November 1, 2020

Tonight I will dream of Trevor Lawrence in a Rams uniform.
I’m sorry you had to hear it.

Didn’t agree with kicking the field goal. Chalk it up with the majority of the things this team decides to do in games. Just pathetic
