Twitter reacts to former LSU players’ performances in Super Bowl LV

LSU showed out in a big way in Sunday night’s Super Bowl matchup.

No school had the amount of star power represented in Super Bowl LV that LSU did.

With six ex-Tigers between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers — three on each team — we were bound to see some standout individual performance.

Sunday night did not disappoint, well, at least in that regard, as the Bucs found no issue in handling the Chiefs, 31-9 in Raymond James Stadium.

Tom Brady may have effectively proven that he is still indeed the greatest of all time, but there’s still credit due for former LSU running back Leonard Fournette and linebacker Devin White.

On the other side, Clyde Edwards-Helaire led Kansas City in rushing with 64 yards on nine carries.

Linebacker Kevin Minter was also there for the big game, but it ended with nothing on the stats sheet to show for him.

Here’s a look at what Twitter had to say about a contest that was very much an LSU-on-LSU war:
