The Indianapolis Colts added former No. 1 overall pick and two-time Pro Bowl left tackle Eric Fisher to the roster on a one-year deal Monday, addressing their biggest need coming out of the 2021 NFL draft.
There were questions about why the Colts didn’t reach for an offensive tackle prospect during the draft, and it seems they were more comfortable taking the risk on Fisher, who is currently rehabbing from an Achilles tear he suffered in January.

One more thing the Fisher signing confirms: Quenton Nelson is officially staying put at left guard, as we suspected. I never liked the idea of moving him to tackle. Now he can continue his Hall of Fame pace at the spot he's best at.

I'll probably live to regret saying this, BUT… The Colts this offseason have addressed each part of the roster that had significant concerns in a legitimate way: QB, LT, DE.
Long way to go, but this is a very solid roster on paper.
QB will be THE deciding factor IMO.
