The Chargers started slow, falling behind 14-0 to the Broncos before finding success prior to the half after Derwin James’ interception and Justin Herbert’s passing touchdown to Austin Ekeler to cut the deficit.
With momentum riding their way in the third quarter, the offense failed to capitalize when Dustin Hopkins missed a 52-yard field goal and Herbert was picked off by Patrick Surtain II on back-to-back drives.
Following Los Angeles’ loss to Denver, here is a look at how the general population reacted:
The Chargers had a golden opportunity, sitting at 4-1 & somehow 6 weeks later they’re going to be 6-5, tied with the Broncos & Raiders. What a debacle.

The Chargers have a bottom-10 roster in the NFL. Telesco has people fooled because a handful of generational talents have fallen into his lap.

Am I disappointed in the Chargers loss? Yes I am,but I'm not going anywhere!

The biggest frustration with #Chargers has always been it’s week to week inconsistencies. After a hot start, this team has been the model of inconsistency. The results have now put their playoff hopes in question.

Are the Chargers good? Because I feel like every time I watch them they're not good but everyone says they're really good

Tank for a high draft pick at this point. Too many holes on this team. @Chargers

The Chargers may make the playoffs given the state of the AFC, but make no mistake about it:
they have no business being in the playoffs if they don't fix this atrocious run defense. It is not NFL caliber.and it was bad when linval was there too, so don't even start with that.

Dear @Chargers
Watching these kind of games really puts a damper on my week! I just want to see a convincing win…something we haven’t done YET this season and we’re on game 11! I want a multiple game win streak. This win then lose next week really sucks!
Sincerely

Brandon Staley was the defensive coordinator for the @rams and left to become the head coach of the @chargers – neither defense is playing well. Correlation? Causation? Or are other variables at work?
