Same story, different week.
The Chargers went down to the wire with the Raiders. Down 31-26, Los Angeles had the opportunity to win the game, including two red-zone possessions. Ultimately, they came up unsuccessful in both attempts.
For a brief moment, it appeared that L.A. was going to come out on the other side when tight end Donald Parham reeled in the pass. Unfortunately, the ball came out as he was going down to the ground, leaving fans in the same episode.
After dropping their sixth of the season to Las Vegas, here’s a look at how the general population reacted on social media:

The Chargers again… the most almost winningest team in football. They will almost beat the piss out of you. They will almost score more points than you and will almost score on the last play of the game…

The Chargers are the most exciting 2-6 team in NFL history (for whatever that's worth).

As I wrote last week, the #Chargers script tragedies more deftly, gloomily and creatively than William Shakespeare. They are a gut punch waiting to happen. Just incredible, really.

The Chargers' ability to find new and dramatic ways to lose every single week is truly remarkable.
— Arash Markazi (@ArashMarkazi) November 9, 2020
For two short minutes in time, the #Chargers went from reversing their end-game jinx to, once again, inventing a new way to lose.
