Chicago Bears general manager Ryan Pace met with the media on Tuesday morning ahead of the 2021 NFL draft on Thursday, where Pace met to address questions that we all knew he wouldn’t answer.
For the second straight presser, Pace’s press conference wasn’t streamed live like previous ones had been, which doesn’t help reassure an untrusting fanbase. Luckily, the media was able to live tweet it, which allowed fans to react in real time.
Naturally, Bears fans had plenty to say about Pace’s press conference — even before it even started. Because we all know that Pace is an expert as saying a lot without saying anything at all.
It seems as if fans are already expected the worst with the draft just a few days away. And it’s hard to blame them. Just look at Pace’s track record in the first round.
