Twitter reactions to UNC basketball still being on the bubble

Here’s what Twitter thinks of the UNC Basketball program being on the bubble for the 2023 NCAA Tournament.

There are just three games left in the regular season for the North Carolina Tar Heels and with a 17-11 overall record and a 9-8 mark in the Atlantic Coast Conference, the program finds itself on the wrong side of the bubble as February ends.

The Tar Heels have really struggled in the month of February, having just two wins and now as things wind down, they need to win as many games as they can.

Following Wednesday’s win over Notre Dame, the Tar Heels kept their slim NCAA Tournament hopes alive. They avoided the bad loss at Notre Dame but it’s not enough to move them in the field. UNC desperately needs a Quad 1 win on the resume and has a chance to do that Saturday when they host Virginia. They could get another on March 4th when they host Duke.

While UNC stays on the bubble anywhere from team No. 69 to team No. 73, many believe they shouldn’t belong on the bubble at all.

Teams on the bubble right now include: Mississippi State, USC, New Mexico, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Penn State, Wake Forest, Utah State, Arizona State, College of Charleston, Oregon, and Seton Hall.  But do the Tar Heels have a better resume than those teams?

Here’s the talk of the bubble and UNC’s involvement on Twitter:
