This is getting very serious in a very good way. It’s true that when USC pulled in the nation’s No. 1 recruit, Isaiah Collier, the Trojans took a big leap in the national rankings and made themselves a team to watch heading into the 2023-2024 college basketball season. That was the moment when USC became a big player.
Then, however, other things started happening which took USC from the realm of a “really good team” to a different category. Bronny James arrived. Boogie Ellis stayed for one more year. The Trojans are now in “wow, this could be really special!” territory, having just added Washington State transfer forward D.J. Rodman in the portal.
