To say that Patrick Beverley’s offseason has been tumultuous feels a little bit like an understatement.
Since he shoved Chris Paul during a timeout as a member of the Los Angeles Clippers — he apologized for it — he’s been traded twice within a week.
First, it was the deal from the Clips (where he’s spent four years) to the Memphis Grizzlies, which would have been a cool spot for him and his intensity and defense.
But the Griz may not have needed a vet like him at the moment, so they flipped him to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Juancho Hernangomez and Jarrett Culver.
