It was announced last week that the Week 3 CBS game would be between Tennessee-Georgia or Florida-Texas A&M.
Alabama defeated Texas A&M, 52-24, in Week 2, paving the way for a showdown of unbeaten SEC East teams taking the afternoon spot.
No. 21 Tennessee defeated Missouri, 35-12, Saturday, while No. 4 Georgia had no issues with No. 7 Auburn. The Bulldogs defeated Auburn, 27-6.
Tennessee has not beaten Georgia since 2016, when the Vols connected on a Hail Mary in the final seconds to win in Athens.
