The Buccaneers have the opportunity to start off the month right and shake off the rough stretch they endured the final three games of October.
Tampa Bay (3-4) will travel west and play the Houston Texans (3-4) 1 p.m. EST Sunday at NRG Stadium. The 506 Sports graphic below shows where the Bucs’ Week 9 matchup will be televised. The blue regions will televise the game.
The game will be broadcast by CBS. Ian Eagle and Super Bowl champion Charles Davis will commentate the matchup.
There isn’t much history between the two teams due to the Texans being a member of the AFC and the youngest franchise in the NFL. Tampa Bay and Houston have played five times. The Texans hold a strong lead in the matchup and are 4-1 against the Bucs.
The last time the two teams faced was Dec. 21, 2019 at Raymond James Stadium. Led by QB Jameis Winston, the Bucs lost 23-20, which ended the four-game winning streak they held at the time.
Winston threw one touchdown and four interceptions that game. It is tied for the second-most interceptions he’s thrown in a game and inched him closer to the 30-30 touchdown-interception milestone he achieved in his bizarre 2019 season.
According to ESPN Analytics, the Bucs have a 49% chance of winning Sunday.
