The Florida Gators will take the field tomorrow night opposite the Oklahoma Sooners in a New Year’s Six Cotton Bowl matchup between the SEC championship runner-up and the Big 12 title-holder. The game is expected to be close and high-scoring, which should make for a very entertaining finish to the 2020 season.
However, things have not been going well for Florida these past few days. The team’s three top receivers — in addition to star tight end Kyle Pitts, who opted on Dec. 20 — have announced that they will forgo the game to prepare for the NFL draft, leaving Heisman Trophy finalist Kyle Trask with a bare pass-catching corps.

Subsequently, the oddsmakers are having second thoughts about their confidence in UF and the Gators took a tumble in the latest line. BetMGM dropped the Gators from a 3-point favorite to a 2.5-point underdog — a 5.5 point shift — while the over/under dropped a couple of points to 69.5.
The game will kick off at 8 p.m. EST on Dec. 30 in AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas. The game will be broadcast on ESPN, can be livestreamed on the ESPN app and can be heard on the Gators Radio Network.
