Tennessee baseball commitments competed at the TSSAA state championships Wednesday.
Dylan Loy of Pigeon Forge High School (Pigeon Forge, Tennessee) defeated Forrest High School (Chapel Hill, Tennessee), 8-5, in the second round of the TSAA Division I Class AA state tournament.
Loy, a junior left-handed pitcher and first baseman, went 3-for-5 with three RBIs, two doubles and scored one run.
Loy (12-1) pitched 4.2 innings, surrendering one hit and one walk, while striking out 10.
In Division I Class AAAA, Farragut High School (Farragut, Tennessee) won two one-run games Wednesday.
The Admirals were victorious, 8-7, in a suspended game against Hendersonville High School (Hendersonville, Tennessee).
Farragut defeated Collierville High School (Collierville, Tennessee), 7-6.
Brennon Seigler recorded one hit and two walks against Hendersonville. He had three hits and three RBIs against Collierville.
In Division II-AA, Catholic High School (Knoxville, Tennessee) lost to McCallie School (Chattanooga, Tennessee), 8-2.
Daniel Parris was 0-for-4 for Catholic.
