USC moves to the Big Ten and takes a lot of Pac-12 history along with it. The Trojans will keep playing, but the music has stopped in the Pac-12. That’s it. The conference’s last sporting event concluded on Saturday when the Pac-12 Baseball Tournament drew to a close. As we say goodbye to the Pac-12, we are offering a final historical review of this special conference we have grown up with and followed throughout our lives. Maybe a Pac-12 rebirth will occur sometime in the 2030s, but for now, the party is over. Which USC football players became our favorites over the years? We’re not ranking the best players, merely providing the Trojans we liked the best. Trojans Wire staff writer Tim Prangley joined me to pick our favorite USC football players from the Pac-12 era (which includes all the previous iterations of the conference, whether it was the PCC or the AAWU). Here we go:

This is a Tim Prangley pick on our list of favorite USC football players.
This is a Matt Zemek pick. Ron Mix has contributed to Trojans Wire on several occasions in the past.

This is a Zemek pick.
Both Tim and Matt have No. 5 as one of their USC favorites.
Check out Tim’s great interview of Munoz (with Rick Anaya), which aired last year and is on YouTube whenever you want to watch it.
