Trojans Wired podcast on possibilities surrounding Bronny James at USC

It’s not a done deal and we’re not assuming it is, but the odds of Bronny James coming to #USC are good. @IanHest produced the show.

The possibility of Bronny James coming to USC to play college basketball is strong. No, it’s hardly a done deal. Bronny could certainly choose Oregon or Ohio State. However, lots of recent events have increased the chances that Bronny will play for USC. No guarantees exist, but if you were going to lay out a set of scenarios for a Bronny-to-USC decision, you would say that most of the boxes have been checked. Not all of them, but most of them.

Boogie Ellis returning for another season cut against a Bronny-to-USC outcome, but various other plot twists — Tre White and Reese Dixon-Waters transferring, plus Silas Demary decommitting — certainly open up both the roster slots and the overall amount of playing time to give Bronny a more personally favorable situation at USC. With White and Dixon-Waters out, Bronny can now reasonably expect more minutes, which would seem to be something he would want.

Producer and co-host Ian Hest joins us to unpack various dimensions of what it would mean — and what it would look like — for USC to land Bronny James.
