Tristan Wirfs is learning about that Florida weather the hard way

Bucs rookie offensive tackle Tristan Wirfs found his on-the-field workout interrupted today by some Florida weather,

The Buccaneers picked up Iowa offensive tackle Tristan Wirfs in round one of April’s NFL draft, looking to use him as the foundational piece in their new O-line that will try and keep Tom Brady from taking a beating this year. Last season, the Bucs allowed former quarterback Jameis Winston to be sacked 47 times.

Wirfs was one of the top-ranked tackles in the 2020 draft class, and has off-the-chart athleticism, highlighted by his ability to just casually jump out of a pool. The big man has been hitting the field in Tampa this offseason, getting in as much conditioning as he can before training camp begins.

But today, it seems that Wirfs’ workout was interrupted by some Florida weather, and I’m not talking about the heat or sunshine, but rather scattered rain showers, which can just pop out of of nowhere.

Take a look at some screenshots from Wirfs’ recent Instagram story.
