The Madden football franchise has been one of the most popular video games in North America for the last 30 years.
In the last 10-15, as more and more Americans play such games, the annual release of player ratings on each year’s version of the game becomes a hot topic for discussion.
Arkansas fans have reason to check them out this year, too, as the Razorbacks have a highly-touted skill player making his league debut this season in wide receiver Treylon Burks.
He’s the lowest-rated of the five wideouts taken in the first 30 picks. Lions rookie Jameson Williams is rated highest at 78. The Alabama rookie was the fourth wide receiver taken at No. 12 overall. Drake London, the first wideout taken, is a 75.
Burks had 66 catches for 1,104 yards with 11 touchdowns last year for Arkansas. The Razorbacks open their season September 3 at home against Cincinnati.
