No. 16 Tennessee (5-0) defeated Iona (0-4), 27-1, at Lindsey Nelson Stadium Friday.
Tennessee third baseman Trey Lipscomb hit for the cycle against Iona. He is the fourth player to hit for the cycle in Tennessee’s program history.
Lipscomb is the first Vol to hit for the cycle since Jordan Rodgers in 2016.
Lipscomb was 5-for-5 in the contest. He recorded a single, two doubles, one triple and a home run against the Gaels.
The 6-foot-1, 200-pound senior totaled nine RBIs and three runs.
