The No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft is officially in the fold with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Trevor Lawrence signed his rookie contract on Monday and now the former Clemson star can begin the task of helping rebuild a team that went 1-15 last season.
Lawrence’s contract is a four-year, $36.8 million contract that includes $24.1 million in guaranteed money and the fifth-year option.
Lawrence has already passed his physical and will receive his full signing bonus within 15 days, Tom Pelissero reported per a source. The deal includes no offset language and annual roster bonuses in 2022-2024, which are guaranteed even if Lawrence is on the active/non-football injury list.
