Presumptive No. 1 pick Trevor Lawrence continues to add endorsement deals to his repertoire. The quarterback already secured a contract with Gatorade, and he has now reportedly signed an agreement with another company, this time with cryptocurrency investment app Blockfolio.

Though the specifics of the deal aren’t available, it is a multi-year contract. According to a report from the New York Times, Lawrence’s “signing bonus” was paid in cryptocurrency, which is apparently worth more now than it was when it was first deposited on Friday.
This historic deal represents a move from cryptocurrency companies to break into the sports world. Recently, Blockfolio’s parent company, FTX, bought the naming rights to the Miami Heat arena.
Lawrence is one of the top quarterback draft prospects of all time, and he’ll almost certainly see more deals like this one as his career progresses.
