It seems that a couple of key Jaguars are currently being limited by injuries as organized team activities continue to proceed on Tuesday. Specifically, it was revealed that quarterback Trevor Lawrence and edge rusher Josh Allen are both dealing with minor injuries that are holding them back, according to reports coming from the facility.

Josh Allen had "lower back tightness," team just wanted to be cautious today in limiting him.

Lawrence, who the team selected with the first overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft, apparently had tightness in his hamstring and was being worked on by trainers. He eventually returned to the practice field, where he threw two interceptions within a short period of time, according to the Associated Press’ Mark Long.

The team has tomorrow off, but Lawrence is expected to be fully available when the team returns to the practice field on Thursday. Allen, meanwhile, was held out of most of the events at practice with tightness of his own in his lower back.
Neither injury is expected to have a long-term impact, and it seems limiting Lawrence and Allen at practice were largely precautionary. Still, the health of both players will be something to keep an eye on considering Lawrence is coming off shoulder surgery and Allen missed eight games in 2020 due to injuries.
