It was a tough Sunday for former Tiger and Jacksonville Jaguars starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
According to Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson, Lawrence has entered the NFL’s concussion protocol following a hit he took late in the Jaguars’ 23-7 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Another injury for the young quarterback, who has been handling a lot of adversity this season.
Lawrence had a solid game against the Ravens, but the offense failed to score points when entering the opponent’s side of the field. He threw for 264 yards and a touchdown while adding 41 yards on the ground.
Currently, the Jaguars are in a three-way tie for the AFC South, with the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans at 8-6. The Jags currently hold the top spot due to a 4-1 in-division record. Hopefully, Lawrence will be healthy and good to go for their matchup next week against the Buccaneers.
