Trevor Lawrence tried to match Zach Wilson with a running touchdown as the Jacksonville Jaguars played the New York Jets on Sunday at MetLife Stadium.
It didn’t quite pan out as put into the game plan. The No. 1 pick in the 2021 NFL draft coughed up the football and it headed for the end zone.
On the spot, however, was 6-foot-6, 306-pound Will Richardson Jr, who covered the football in the end zone for a touchdown.

The happy moment was short-lived for Jacksonville as on the ensuing kickoff, Braxton Berrios took it 102 yards for a New York Jets score.
