After another stellar game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, which resulted in a win for Washington, punter Tress Way has been named the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week by the NFL, thanks to his remarkable punting that was yet again put on display.

During the game, Way had a total of five punts that went for an average of 50.4 yards, three of which were pinned inside the 20-yard line, and one that was downed at the 2.

This is the third time that Way has been named the Player of the Week in his career. It’s clear that Washington’s punter could be well on his way to another Pro Bowl nod this year as well.
