Boston Celtics two-way rookie guard Tremont Waters recorded his third straight double-double with the Maine Red Claws in the G League on Saturday night.
Waters finished with 18 points, 11 assists and three steals during the 128-123 loss to the Delaware Blue Coats. Over his last three games, Waters is averaging 16 points, 10.3 assists and 2.3 steals as the Red Claws are 1-2 in those games.
The second-round pick once again showed off his court vision in the game on Saturday as he has established himself among the top guards in the G League. Waters was named the G League Player of the Month after averaging 22.3 points, 7.7 assists, three rebounds and 1.7 steals in six November games.
The matchup between the Red Claws and Blue Coats proved to be an entertaining affair as the two teams exchanged leads in the fourth quarter. Red Claws guard Bryce Brown set a franchise record after hitting all 11 3-point attempts to finish with 41 points.

Waters has proven to be a standout among the rookie class this season in the G League as several first-year players have emerged for their respective clubs.
Waters is now averaging 20.2 points, 8.4 assists and 1.9 steals for the Red Claws in nine games played. Maine returns to action on Friday against the Iowa Wolves.
