With his college football career nearly complete, Travis Hunter will represent a major brand as his NFL career looms.
On Thursday, Adidas announced it has signed Hunter to an endorsement deal. The junior wide receiver/cornerback joins NFL stars under the Adidas umbrella such as Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Dallas Cowboys edge rusher Micah Parsons and Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown.
In a press release, Adidas noted the tremendous season Hunter enjoyed in 2024, which included playing 1,360 total snaps on offense and defense. Hunter has earned the Bednarik Award (best defensive player), the Biletnikoff Award (best receiver) and is expected to land the Heisman Trophy.
“Working with Adidas is a special opportunity for me and something that I’m really excited about as I look ahead to what’s next,” Hunter said in the press release. “The partners they currently have are top tier with some of the best young guys like me. I’m pumped to join the three stripes as we continue pushing the boundaries of the sport we all love.”
