Travis Fulgham’s tenure with the Green Bay Packers did not last long. Less than a week after being claimed off waivers from the Lions, Fulgham was sent packing by the Packers.
The second-year wideout was released by the Packers on Wednesday. Green Bay needed roster space to activate a player or two from its reserve/COVID-19 list, and Fulgham failed to show enough in a handful of practices to stick around.
The Lions brought back WR Chris Lacy later in the day, an indication that they have no real interest in reuniting with their sixth-round pick from 2019. Lacy and Fulgham were both cut by Detroit on the same day. Fulgham showed little in his Detroit time either and could be on his way out of the league.
