Travis Etienne Jr., 2 other Jaguars limited in Thursday practice

Travis Etienne Jr. was one of three Jaguars players limited Thursday.

Running back Travis Etienne Jr. was one of three Jacksonville Jaguars players limited in practice Thursday due to a ribs injury he suffered in the team’s Week 12 win against the Houston Texans.

“I’m feeling better, I’m just working day in and day out to get better so I can get back Monday and be my best self,” Etienne said after practice. “If I can go, I’m gonna go. If I can’t, we got great backs behind me that are gonna do their jobs. That’s what I love about this team: everyone’s a great professional and we’re all in this together to win the game and they’ll be ready to go if I’m not.”

Along with Etienne, cornerback Tyson Campbell and tight end Luke Farrell were limited Thursday.

Campbell has missed four of the last five games due to his nagging hamstring injury. On Thursday, he worked to the side with trainers at the beginning of practice before joining his position group.

The Cincinnati Bengals listed a dozen players on their Thursday injury report, although four were due to rest and four practiced fully.

Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins missed the last three weeks due to his injuries.
