Delaware linebacker Colby Reeder is planning to wrap things up shortly, this as the transfer portal linebacker has narrowed down his list of programs as he gears up for a decision.
Reeder is planning to visit Iowa State and Kansas State this weekend. He will have in-home visits with Rutgers, Iowa State and Kansas State this week as well.
He hopes to make a decision sooner rather than later. He visited Rutgers this past weekend.
“I’ve narrowed down the colleges that I have real interest in to just a few,” Reeder told ‘Rutgers Wire’ on Tuesday.
“After these visits this weekend, I expect to be able to make a decision shortly after.”
In six games this year, Reeder has 44 tackles, 2.5 sacks and an interception.
Reeder enjoyed his visit to Rutgers over the weekend. The pragmatic linebacker seems to have the Scarlet Knights well-positioned but he’s taking all factors into consideration as his transfer portal recruitment winds down:
“Rutgers is one of my top choices definitely being close to home and good coaches and good program. So, I figured I’d take the short trip up there this weekend, check out what they had to offer,” Reeder told ‘Rutgers Wire’ on Sunday.
“And I thought went well. I thought the coaches were really awesome. They spent a lot of time with me, got to have a few sit downs and film sessions. Give me a whole tour of the facility and everything and it went really well. And I was really pleased for what they had to offer and what they had to tell me and everything.”
