Trail Blazers at Rockets: Lineups, injury reports, broadcast and stream info for Friday

Houston hasn’t won at home since Dec. 8. To break that streak versus rising star Anfernee Simons and the visiting Trail Blazers, the Rockets almost certainly need more from Jalen Green.

The Houston Rockets continue a four-game homestand when they host the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday, and if you’re wondering how you can watch all the action live, you’ve come to the right place.

The rebuilding Rockets are 3-3 in their last six games, but nearly all of their progress has come on the road. At Toyota Center, they are looking to break a winless streak that stretches all the way back to Dec. 8.

One huge priority is getting Jalen Green back on track. In his last three games, the highly touted rookie is averaging just 5.7 points in 26.7 minutes on a woeful 15.0% shooting clip and 11.8% on 3-pointers.

The Blazers won’t have injured star Damian Lillard, but they do have some momentum on the back of a 6-4 stretch in their last 10 games. Anfernee Simons has taken advantage of Portland’s suddenly open playing time in the backcourt and is having by far the best stretch of his young NBA career, averaging 24.2 points (47.2% FG, 43.7% on 3-pointers) and 7.2 assists in 37.1 minutes over his last 12 outings.

Portland currently owns the No. 10 spot in the Western Conference, which would give them the final spot in the play-in tournament to qualify for the 2022 West playoffs. Houston is six games back.
