The Brooklyn Nets have made plenty of moves this offseason to try to make the team as good as possible for the team to make a playoff run next season. However, once an NBA season begins, anything can happen once teams see how good/bad they are.
In a recent article by Bleacher Report, Zach Buckley said that Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young could be a potential trade target for the Nets at some point next season. Even though there hasn’t been any rumblings of the Hawks actively looking to trade Young, but Brooklyn was on the hunt for a superstar this summer with regards to Damian Lillard.
While Lillard seems to be a longshot because of reports that he only wants to play for the Miami Heat, there are other stars to be had for the right price in the right circumstances. To that point, if Atlanta plays worse than expected next season, Young could be a name to look out for for a possible trade.
