New York Knicks fans spent much of Game 2 of the team’s opening playoff series against the Atlanta Hawks focusing their ire at Trae Young.
But … did someone spit on the Hawks star during the Knicks’ victory?
A video a lot of people are breaking down could show a fan spitting on him, an incident that may have happened with rapper/actor 50 Cent sitting in the front row.
But Young — who didn’t react in the video — responded on Twitter by doing exactly what he’s been doing in both games at Madison Square Garden: he brushed it off and shouted out 50 Cent in the process:
Damn… Crazy ! @50cent y’all good?!

This is the same Young who walked off the court after the loss smiling and saying “See you in [Atlanta].” Nothing’s going to knock him off his focus on getting the Hawks to the next round in the East, not even something as horrible — again, if this really did happen — as someone trying to spit on him (also, given the Russell Westbrook popcorn incident in Philadelphia, I REALLY hope this didn’t happen too).
Trae Young exits the Garden.
