Raptors at Pacers: Odds, betting lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Raptors 115, Pacers 106

Money line (ML)

There’s value on the RAPTORS (+100) at even money. They’ve won four of their last five games following an awful start to the season. Lowry was out Friday against the Miami Heat but four starters had at least 13 points and PG Terence Davis came off the bench for 12 points in 16:39 of playing time in one of Toronto’s most well-rounded games of the season.

The Pacers have won three of their last five but with Warren still sidelined by injury and LeVert not yet fit to play after being acquired via trade in exchange for SG Victor Oladipo, they’re just too shorthanded.

Indiana ranks second-to-last in the NBA in defending opponent 3-point attempts and Toronto is chucking a league-high 43.3 3-pointers per game. The Raptors also have a slight edge in rebounding and should force more Pacers turnovers than Indiana typically provides.

Against the spread (ATS)

PASS on the spread. It’s only a 1.5-point margin and we’re taking the Raptors for the modest road upset for a greater profit. Again, the Raptors’ 3-point shooting will be able to create separation in the scoring column.

Over/Under (O/U)

Lean slightly to the OVER 219.5 (-110). Toronto’s scoring will be able to come in bunches if any one of Fred VanVleetNorman Powell or OG Anunoby gets hot beyond the arc. Anunoby went 5-for-6 from 3-point range against the Heat Friday.
