Top rookie draft pick officially jumping on TB12 diet bandwagon

A top rookie draft pick is aiming to follow in Tom Brady’s footsteps all the way down to the diet

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams is emulating New England Patriots legend Tom Brady in a unique way. Williams is following Brady’s diet, as the rookie gets set to become the face of the Bears franchise.

There is a connection between the two signal-callers. Williams and Brady met back in May for a rookie breakfast during the Fanatics event.

The two have stayed in touch, with Williams coming to Brady for advice on how to navigate the league. Williams has adopted some of Brady’s habits, including his diet.

ESPN’s Courtney Cronin wrote:

For his part, Williams has adopted several of Brady’s processes. He started doing Brady’s TB12 diet before training camp. The strict regimen follows a mostly plant-based diet which eliminates things like sugar, refined carbohydrates and caffeine with the goal of reducing inflammation.

Brady’s longevity is certainly something to study.

Learning and adopting as much from Brady as possible certainly isn’t a bad thing. Williams has previously stated that he wants to have a career like Brady’s. It makes sense that he’d want to match his habits.
